Clara Matilda (Hanson) Hovey

Clara Matilda Hanson was born in Winneshiek County, IA on 28 Aug 1873. On 22 Dec 1891 she married Ole P. Hovey (b. 24 Jun 1862, Valders, NOR).

Ole and Clara had six children: Stella (b. 7 Nov 1892), Clarence (b. 21 Sep 1895), Florence (b. 23 Mar 1898), Esther (3 Aug 1900), Lloyd (30 Jun 1904), and Beatrice (26 Feb 1907).

Ole P. Hovey died on 28 May 1922 and was buried in the Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah, Winneshiek, IA.

His wife, Clara, died 15 Nov 1949 and was buried next to Ole.
