Jane SANDER married Charles M. Hanson (1845-1921) on 22 Dec 1866 and together they had six children that lived into adulthood: Bernt "Ben" Martinus, Clara Matilda, Mina "Minnie" Amelia, Carl Oscar, Annetta "Nettie" Gustava and Hannah Maria.

We know a little bit about Charles Hanson from his biography in Past and Present of Winneshiek County, Iowa by Edwin C. Bailey.

UPDATE (2 Aug 2018): The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America records at Ancestry.com give the marriage date for Jane Sander and Charles Hanson as 22 Dec 1866. This is more likely accurate than 1867 as shown in the Family Group Sheet above.

Charles Hanson Family (c. 1885)
This picture of the Charles Hanson family dates to around 1885. This can be determined since Charles and Jane's youngest daughter, Hannah, who was born in 1887, is not in the picture and Nettie (far left) who was born in 1881, appears to be about 3 or 4 years old.

Additional confirmation that the image is from the early 1880s comes from a Family Tree Magazine article: "According to the Biographies of Western Photographers: A Reference Guide to Photographers Working in the 19th Century American West (Carl Mautz), J. T. Relf operated a photo studio on Water Street in Decorah, Iowa, in 1880."
In 1885, the state of Iowa took a census. As expected Charles Hanson's family listed above, as well as his elderly father, Martin, are all still sharing a household in Madison township, Winneshiek county.

1895 IA Census: Charles Hanson Family
In the following 10 years, several changes occurred in the Hanson household that are reflected in the 1895 Iowa Census. Another daughter, Hannah Maria, was born on 18 August 1887. A few years later, Charles and Jane's oldest daughters married. On 22 December 1891 Clara married Ole P. Hovey and on 19 Mar 1894 Minnie married Peter T. Hovey. The Hoveys' exact relationship to each other, if any, is not currently known. That same year on 26 December 1894, Charles' father Martin passed away and was buried in the Hanson plot in the East Madison (Vold) Cemetery.

Also at about this time or possibly a few years later, the portrait below of the Hanson children was taken. Unfortunately it is not dated.

1920 US Federal Census: Charles Hanson Family
By 1920, all of the Hanson children had moved out. Living with Charles and Jane were their eight year old grandson, Charles G. Bothner (his mother, Annetta, had passed away in 1913), and two boarders, Anton H. Ark and Helmer G. Gunhus, who were apparently working on the farm. Their names appear on the next page of the census not included here.
